SAFETY

Gruppo Antonini SpA has implemented an efficient management system, not only focused on Environmental aspects but integrated with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) safeguarding programs.

The company has thus obtained ISO 14001:2015 certification for the scope of "Design and construction of metal structures and petrochemical plants for offshore and onshore, skids and pressure and non-pressure equipment, mechanical machining, sandblasting, painting, assembly. External site activities in the petrochemical, alternative energy, and naval sectors, design, construction, and maintenance of plants."

In this context, following agreements with the Port Authority (A.D.S.P.) of La Spezia during the renewal of the Demanial Concession for the Industrial Zone, and in compliance with Liguria Region requirements for securing the Pertusola site, where the Pertusola Foundry operated from the late 1800s to the early 1900s, the company, while not recognized as a "polluting entity," has committed to remediating the three identified Hot-Spots deemed the most critical points of danger by the Authority. Gruppo Antonini continues with the remediation operations, expected to conclude by 2026.

Lastly, the Group has been awarded in recent years for:

  • 530,000 man-hours without incidents during the construction of Modules for the GORGON Barrow Island LNG GTG Project
  • Best Construction Site for GE Oil & Gas for safety
  • Best Construction Site Agip KCO for safety
  • 1 million, 2 million, and 2.5 million hours worked without incidents during the construction of two RGI Modules for the Kashagan Project.
