OUR STORY
Antonini Group S.p.A. is a well-established industrial entity founded and managed by the Antonini family in the La Spezia area, which underwent significant streamlining of its operational resources following the merger of its ancestral companies in 2016.
THE FORTIES
GRUPPO ANTONINI WAS BORN
Founded in La Spezia in 1943 by Walter Antonini, the company initially focused on repairing metal structures damaged by bombings during World War II.
THE FIFTIES
FIRST INDUSTRIAL PLANTS
In the 1950s, the Antonini Family began integrating medium-scale carpentry activities, later transitioning to heavy carpentry, and eventually moving into industrial plant assembly.
THE SIXTIES
ENTRANCE INTO ENI
Following the meeting between Walter Antonini and Enrico Mattei, CEO of ENI, the manufacturing of parts for oil platforms was introduced, eventually leading to their complete construction. After establishing itself as a partner of ENI, the family entered the industrial sector as a supplier of offshore structures and oil platform installations in 1963.
THE SEVENTIES
ACQUISITION OF BAIA DI PERTUSOLA
In the late 1970s, Walter Antonini, supported by his son Claudio, decided to invest in acquiring a beachfront area in Pertusola Bay (Gulf of La Spezia) to expand the scope of their production chain.
THE NINETIES
ENTRANCE IN THE NAVAL SECTOR
In their new production site, the Antonini family begins constructing and repairing large commercial ships for third parties, as well as engaging in the transportation and installation of structures manufactured at offshore sites.
2020
ANTONINI NAVI WAS BORN
In 2019, the Antonini family began investing in the promising superyacht market, founding the Antonini Navi brand alongside Aldo Manna, partner and current Sales Director, with the goal of crafting customized yachts for a growing global clientele.
