OIL PLATFORMS VENTURING INTO EMERGING MARKETS
Claudio Antonini presents a report in a note on current and upcoming activities: 'As of today, the construction site is focused on completing the Clara Nw and Bonaccia Nw drilling platforms, intended for Eni’s operations in the Adriatic Sea. Work on these two projects has the company engaged in its most delicate phase: the start of production. Both platforms were launched this month in La Spezia and have been sent to their destination in the Adriatic Sea. Before this, we completed the Litchendjili Deck platform for our client Eni Congo, which was transported to Pointe-Noire.'
The future? 'The company aims to further strengthen its competitive position in the most challenging market segments by leveraging both a flexible business model and strong, long-term relationships with Eni and the major oil companies. Management intends to develop various assets and evaluate new emerging markets, diversifying the offering to optimize cost-benefit ratios and complete the internationalization of the Antonini Group, following the path already taken by our subsidiary Nuova Oma, which has several overseas facilities.
Numerous commercial negotiations and proposals for new contracts are currently underway, and recent agreements have been signed for continuous collaboration with major multinational companies operating in the offshore and oil & gas sectors.
