FOR ANTONINI GROUP A NEW EPC CONTRACT IN THE MEDITERRANEAN SEA
Gruppo Antonini, operating globally in the Oil & Gas sector for over 80 years, has won a new contract for EPCIC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation, and Commissioning) activities for an offshore project in the Mediterranean. This project has a total value of approximately 300 million euros and has been awarded to the consortium formed by Gruppo Antonini, Rosetti Marino Spa, and Kerry Project Logistics (Italy) Spa, by Mellitah Oil & Gas BV - Libyan Branch (National Oil Corporation of Libya and Eni North Africa).

The project involves the construction of a new gas production platform, weighing over 20,000 tons, which will be installed off the Libyan coast, in the Bahr Essalam offshore field. Gruppo Antonini will be responsible for activities including the construction of the LIVING QUARTER, HELIDECK, foundation PILES, commissioning activities, and the start-up of the offshore facilities.
The WHPA platform will include a JACKET weighing approximately 7,000 tons, 8 foundation PILES weighing about 5,000 tons, a TOPSIDE with the associated FLARE weighing around 8,000 tons, a LIVING QUARTER weighing approximately 800 tons, and a preliminary weight of over 2,000 tons for the FMWR (Fast Moving Workover Rig). The project is expected to be completed by the second quarter of 2028.

This significant order is the second one obtained by Mellitah Oil & Gas BV from the Gruppo Antonini. Last summer, the Company bid worth over 200 million euros for the Sabratha Platform Compression Module Project, a compression module intended to be installed on the existing SABRATHA gas platform, 42 meters above sea level and 120 km off the Libyan coast.
